Expressions of Interest Now Open for Summer Junior Competition
We are now taking expressions of interest for our 2021 Summer Junior Touch Competition. Given the changing nature of COVID-19, we are looking to hear from interested teams who may be keen on playing in our competition. This will help us get a better understanding of where we are at and who is interested in being a part of the comp.

Together with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, we will be running a Junior Touch Football Clinic during the April School Holidays!!
This is a great opportunity for any kids to come and try touch football, or to learn and develop fundamental touch footy skills in a fun and safe environment!

Entries Open for 2021 Junior Competition
We are happy to announce that entries for our 2021 Tuesday Junior Competition (Term One) are now open. The competition will be played at Heffron Park on Tuesday afternoons, from the 8th February 2021 to 23rd March 2021.

Registrations Open for Term 4 Junior Rabbitohs Competition
Registrations are now open for the Term 4 Rabbitohs Junior Touch Competition. The competition is played at Heffron Park, on Tuesdays in Term 4, from the 27th October to 15th December 2020.
We are looking for teams and individuals to join our competition. Our comp is open to everyone of all experience levels.
At $500 for a team and $70 for an individual player (without a team), we are the cheapest touch competition in the area, and one of the most cost-effective ways for kids to play sport over summer. We even throw in a Rabbitohs touch playing shirt as a part of the registration.

Junior Touch Academy Registrations Now Open
The Rabbitohs Junior Touch Academy is an initiative to give access to all current and future representative touch footballers, aged between 14 and and 18 – male and female – the chance to develop their skills in fun and friendly environment. The program is particularly targeted to those players who currently represent Rabbitohs Touch, or may do so in the future.
The program will be led by some of our club’s most experienced coaches. All coaches are qualified Touch Football Australia coaches, and will deliver a program that has been specifically tailored to improving the skill sets of our players within a framework that aims to bring out the best in all of our athletes.

One Week Until Wagga
With less than a week until Wagga, we thought it wise to send out some information and get all parents and players up to speed on what to expect. We have been super impressed with the efforts of our boys and girls and cant wait to see them all having fun on and off the field.
Where is Wagga?
The tournament will be held at the Jubilee Park, in Wagga Wagga. Its about a 4.5 hour drive from Sydney, or about an hour from Cootamundra.
Where is the club accommodation?
The club accommodation is in Cootamundra, which as im sure everyone is aware, is about a 50-60 min drive from Wagga. Being a new club, it was extremely hard to find accommodation in Wagga, and this was the very best we could do.
Our club has two locations, and if you booked accommodation with us, you should have received an email by now advising you of where you are staying. Please let us know if you have not received this.
When do the kids play?
Games are held from Friday morning through to Sunday afternoon. Finals are usually held on Sunday, so if the kids dont make it through to finals, they may not play on the Sunday

Should we leave Sydney on Thursday, or wait until Friday?
The short answer is, leave Thursday afternoon. Games start early Friday, and the last thing you want is to be driving for five hours at 3am in the morning on Friday.
If you are staying with us, we have booked you in from Thursday to Sunday.
Do you have any tips on what to bring?
The State Cup is a behemoth of a tournament. The days are long and it is often very hot. Here is what I recommend you bring:
- Sun safety stuff (hat, sunscreen)
- Plenty of water and lollies
- Lunch food if you don't want to buy from the fields
- Spare black socks. I recommend at least three pairs. All players are generally required to wear our Rabbitohs socks, however, if the entire team bring some spare black socks, you may be able to get away with wearing these in games. Remember, we only provide you with one pair.
- A camp chair. These are a godsend when you are trekking to and from fields. It will make watching games a lot more enjoyable
If I have questions, who do I speak to?
Our tournament manager for the competition is Alex Rosenbaum. A seasoned campaigner at touch tournaments, she will be your port of call if you have any major dramas. If you have any minor questions, its best to speak to your coach first though.
Code of Conduct
A gentle reminder that, upon accepting a position in our representative teams, you also agree to abide by the NSW Touch Code of Conduct. Our sport is inclusive, and we maintain respect for everyone, including players, coaches, referee's and parents. By all means, support your kids with all of your heart, but please leave the coaching to the coaches and the refereeing to the refs.
Looking the part
On a final note, we have some spare merchandise for sale, if you are wanting to look the part. We have limited numbers, so if you wish to purchase anything (like the items below), simply head to our shop. Items need to be purchased by Tuesday to ensure you receive them by the tournament.
