Monday Nights ‘Under the Lights’
THE DIFFERENT DIVISIONS:

Low – 6pm and 9pm: The Low division is aimed at new or less experienced players looking to learn the game, get some exercise and have fun! If you have played in this division before or want a bit more of a challenge, give the Intermediate division a go. We dare you!

Intermediate – 6:45pm and 8:15pm: The Intermediate division caters to experienced players who enjoy playing at a faster pace and a higher quality. This division provides a good opportunity to improve your skills whilst still playing at a competitive level.

Open – 7:30pm: The Opens division will see some of the best players in NSW hitting the fields! It will bring a highly competitive level of touch football to David Phillips every Monday, as the best players in the area test their skills against each other!

Start Date: MONDAY 7th of August, 2017
Entry Fee: $1,150

A $50 FINE will now apply to any team that FORFEITS their game after 2pm, the day of the forfeited game. Payment of the fine must be processed before the next weeks play.

Competition Information: The competition will run for 10 weeks and 2-3 weeks for finals (depending on weather during the season). Games are six-a-side (MAX 3 men on at a time) and played under TFA rules. Teams can consist of up to fourteen players. Please note that shirts will only be provided for twelve players.

All communication about competition details and changes will be made via email to team managers.

Jerseys: Team managers must come 30 minutes prior to their first match to collect their shirts. Colours will be given out on a first come (and paid), first serve basis.

Register as an Individual: There is an option now to register as an individual and be put in a team by the competition coordinators if you are not already connected to a team. The creation of a team is dependent on the interest we receive. This team will be placed in an Intermediate 2 (8.15pm) division. Individuals will also be placed in sides requesting extra players.

If this is not possible at the time, alternatively you will receive a unique team code at the end of this process and that can then be communicated to your team mates who can then complete the individual player registration at http://www.unswtouchfootball.org.au/

7.30pm: The Super League is Back!!!

The Super League will see some of the best player in NSW hitting the fields, to Win the Second Super League of its kind. The $2,000 worth of Prize money will bring a highly competitive level of touch football to David Phillips every Monday, as the best players in the area test their skills against each other!

STATE CUP TRIALS – MEN’S & WOMEN’S

Bullets Touch Club presents Touch in the Sun – One day mixed touch tournament

We hope this will be a great run for Vawdon Cup players wanting some competitive game time ahead of the start of the season, as well as a fun day for any team wanting a good run around.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

•There will be 2 divisions with 10 team spots each
•Team Registration: $500 per team
•Mixed teams only
•The tournament will be played at David Phillips Memorial Fields in Daceyville
•First games start at 9am on Sunday 19 June 2016
•Opens first prize money: $4,000.00
•Social first prize money: $2,000.00
•Maximum of 14 players in each team
•Teams are to provide their own numbered playing shirts
•A draw will be sent around once registrations close.

Semester 1 Super League!

This year the UNSW Touch Club will be introducing a Super League division to replace the Mixed Open division. The Super League is designed to create a competitive level of touch football for more experienced and representative players. The prize money to be offered will reflect this higher standard in order to attract some of the best teams in the Eastern Suburbs. Please note that this will not impact the prize money to be offered in the Low and Intermediate divisions.

If you are interested in competing in the Super League, please email info@unswtouchfootball.org.au or socialcompetition@unswtouchfootball.org.au as soon as possible and include a brief summary of your touch football experience. We will then advise if your team has secured a spot in the Super League prior to you formalising your registration.

The Monday Night Social Touch Football Competition runs during semester 1 and 2 each year. With low, intermediate and open divisions, the competition caters to players with all levels of experience. Regardless of whether you are a student at UNSW, you can still get involved by registering a team of 12 or by registering as an individual.

Vawdon Cup

Round 3 and 4 of Vawdon Cup will be played in a double header on Sunday 14th September to make up for the washed out. The games will be played at Doyle Ground, Macarthur Street Nth Parramatta.

AUGs Trivia Night

It is that time of year again for the annual trivia night!

Venue: Bat and Ball Hotel, 425 Cleveland Street Redfern (Cnr South Dowling)
Tickets: $20 which includes food and bar tab!
The AUGs kids will receive money based on the number of people they bring! Bullets kids can jump on board with someone going to uni games to help them out with AUGs costs!

Get a table of 6-8 people and start collecting money!
You must email have organised and paid for your table by September 15 2014.

Once you have organised your table please email Brienna at brienna7@gmail.com or private message UNSW Touch on facebook to sort out payment. Alternatively you can pay at training on Sunday.

If there are singles, we are able to organise throw-together tables. Alternatively just make tables combined within your teams!
